Ronald Street Play Area Opens in Nottingham

The Radford Ward Community came together to celebrate the completion of the Ronald Street Play Area with local MP Lillian Greenwood.

Over 50 families, Ward Councillors, the Police and Senior Council Official attended the event to celebrate the completion of the new play area which gave the opportunity to thank local families and school children who helped deliver the project from the original conception to the detailed designs.

The project included the removal of old, outdated play equipment to be replaced by a modern, accessible play facilities and outdoor fitness equipment. The project cost £99,999.99 and was funded by a grant of £65,000.00 from FCC Communities Foundation with match funding of £39,999.99 coming from Nottingham City Council funds.
