Is your project to conserve biological diversity through the provision, conservation, restoration or enhancement of a natural habitat or the maintenance or recovery of a species in its natural habitat?

(Object D of the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund)

Our funding for projects under Object D is directed at projects which aim to enhance biodiversity by supporting the expansion, recovery and conservation of habitats or species through on-site improvements. Projects must be at a clearly identified site and the primary intent must relate to specific improvements at the site to aid the conservation or recovery or habitat(s) and/or species. Projects involving survey and monitoring work may be funded but only where it is intrinsically linked to actual conservation works undertaken at the site.

Funding can only be used for costs which are wholly attributable to a project's delivery and must not be required by a statutory notice, agreement, order or planning permission or consent.
