Leaf Lane play area now open following official launch.

The Leaf Lane play area in Winsford is officially up and running following a launch party attended by the Deputy Mayor of Winsford at the facility in Leaf Lane on the 30th August 2022.

New play equipment at the venue including swings, slides and roundabouts are included at the new facility which was funded by a £50,000 grant from FCC Communities Foundation.

Cllr Lyndsay Barwell, Deputy Mayor of Winsford is delighted that the project is now in use. She says: “This vital facility is going to make a real difference to those who use it, as well as the wider Winsford community. We are extremely grateful to FCC Communities Foundation for providing funding as we would not have been able to go ahead without its support.
