The local community in Weaverham celebrated the official opening of the newly completed Russet Road Playpark on Tuesday 14th March and, despite heavy snow falling in the days leading up to the opening and a hail storm on the day, this didn't dampen the enthuisiasm of those who attended. The £183,000 project has seen the existing children's playpark completely renovated, as well as the creation of a new youth playpark, with the site now catering for young people of all ages.
