SANTA left a giant surprise for the children in Ravenshead!

Youngsters in Ravenshead Village are set to get a new multiplay unit thanks to a £34,983.64 grant from FCC Communities Foundation.

The money will be used to replace the existing unit in the playground at the Leisure Centre, off Longdale Lane.

Councillor Martin Smith, chairman of Ravenshead Parish Council, knows that the new unit will enhance the play facilities in the already popular playpark. He says “Our old unit has served the community very well for a couple of decades, but the generous grant that FCC Communities Foundation has awarded us will enable us to provide colourful, challenging and exciting new play opportunities for children of all ages in the Spring.”
