Important changes to our funding areas

Changes to Eligible Funding Areas

We are making important changes to the areas from which we can accept applications. As five sites are no longer generating income through the Landfill Communities Fund, we will no longer be able to accept applications relating to these areas from 19 November 2026.

Site Changes

The following landfill sites will no longer be eligible for funding from 20 November 2026:

• Blackborough End, Norfolk, PE32 1SW
• Calvert, Buckinghamshire, MK18 2HF
• Colsterworth, Lincolnshire, NG33 5QT
• Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, DN21 1AF
• Thurcroft, South Yorkshire, S66 9AB

Final Application Rounds

We will continue to accept applications related to these sites for the next two funding rounds only:

• FCC Community Action Fund 2026-3
  Currently open and closes at 5:00pm on 19 August 2026
• FCC Community Action Fund 2026-4
  Opens on 2 September 2026 and closes at 5:00pm on 18 November 2026
