Funding Approved for Renovation of Parish Suite

Residents in Killamarsh and the surrounding areas are set to get an improved community space thanks to a £99,410.00 grant from FCC Communities Foundation.

The money will be used to refurbish the Parish Suite following its separation from Killamarsh Active. With planned works including updating of toilet facilities, creating a community kitchen, installing a new dance floor as well as redecoration and lighting.

The Parish Council believes these improvements will be of huge benefit to the community and will provide a modern inviting space to bring the community together.

The Chair of the Parish Council Stephen Clough says “This project will provide a real boost for the people of Killamarsh. It’s fantastic that FCC Communities Foundation has awarded us this money and we’re really looking forward to getting this project progressing over the coming months.”

The Parish Council hopes the Killamarsh Parish Suite will be ready to use by Winter 2023.
