Over the moon in Over!

Young people in and around Over, Cambridgeshire are set to get a significantly improved skate park thanks to a £100,000 grant from FCC Communities Foundation.

The money will be used to design and build a larger skate park, with modern elements that cater for multi-wheeled sports and young people of all abilities at the Over Community Centre, Over, Cambridgeshire.

Cllr Twiss of Over Parish Council believes the facility will make a huge difference to the lives of people living in the area and is particularly grateful to OSKA (Over Skate Park Association) for all their support with driving the project forward.

Cllr Twiss says: “This project will provide a real boost to the young people of Over. It’s fantastic that FCC Communities Foundation has awarded us this money and we’re really looking forward to our skate park taking shape over the next few months”

OSKA have worked extremely hard alongside the Parish Council to reach this stage and are looking forward to work start early this month.
