Funding approved for repairs and renovations St Bees Village Hall.

Thanks to an award of £36,600 from FCC Communities Foundation, the residents of St Bees Village are set to get long awaited renovation work carried out on their well-used and well-loved village hall. This money will be used to carry out repairs and refurbishment to the front external elevation of the building and internally the upstairs front areas.

The work should commence in the early spring and be completed by the summer.

Doug Sim, Chair of St Bees Parish Council commented that this grant will improve the structure and appearance of the building and make more space available for community use.
