New skate park in Over, Cambridgeshire now open following official launch

Young people in and around Over, Cambridgeshire are celebrating the opening of the significantly improved skate park thanks to a £100,000 grant from FCC Communities Foundation.

The Over Skate Park, located at the Over Community & Conference Centre, is officially up and running following its launch at the Over Community Fun Day on 14 June 2025.

Cllr Grange of Over Parish Council believes the facility will make a huge difference to the lives of people living in the area and is particularly grateful to OSKA (Over Skate Park Association) for all their support with driving the project forward.

Cllr Grange says: “This project will provide a real boost to the young people of Over. It’s fantastic that FCC Communities Foundation awarded us this money and we’re really looking forward to our skate park taking shape over the next few months”
